According to multiple reports, Los Angeles Kings forward Jarret Stoll was arrested Friday in Las Vegas on suspicion of possession of cocaine.
The arrest occurred at the Wet Republic pool at the MGM Grand hotel, according to CBS Las Vegas. The drugs in question, as relayed by police, were cocaine and ecstasy.
Stoll, 32, will be an NHL free agent starting July 1 and is the longtime boyfriend of Fox Sports reporter and Dancing with the Stars co-host Erin Andrews. The hockey player has reportedly posted his $5,000 bail and is no longer in police custody.
After being notified of the arrest, the Kings organization released a statement: “We are aware of police reports out of Clark County, Nevada regarding Jarret Stoll. Our organization is concerned and has begun conducting a thorough internal investigation. While we continue to actively gather facts, we are withholding further comment at this time.”
